Soaking up the sceneryPosted by Stephen (Canberra, Australia) on 12 June 2012 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Our cruise headed across to the Banda Sea to arrive at Yamdena Island. With its sparkling coral sea, it is a part of Indonesia vastly different to the swamp and jungle of the Asmat. Here, Maureen (on the right) soaks up the spectacular scenery we found on this pristine beach. Minimal processing - I have tried to retain the natural colours. This shot is a preview of a future series.

@Jules: Thanks, Jules! @London Caller: Yes, I use the Color Efex Pro filter in Photoshop. I like to add a little tonal contrast to the image. I try to do an edit in five or ten minutes. If I convert to b&w, I would spend more time with Silver Efex Pro - which offers so many ways to adjust tones. @RBL: Thanks, Ruthie - pleased you could take a look at my theme page. |
