We are back with Groovin' in the City. It's Tango time! This is a shot of Tony Pyrzakowski; and the name of the band is Tangocentric. Previously on Groovin’, we featured jazz. Stay tuned for more Tango - out on the dance floor!

CElliottUK from Reading, United Kingdom

It takes 2! This man and his fiddle(now that's a thought-if classical violinists have a violin, and Irish Cailiegh bands have a fiddle, what do jazzed up tangoists have- a fiolin? a viddle?
Anyway, spot on portrait, you've got him so well!

11 Nov 2010 9:28am

@CElliottUK: I think this guy Tony also plays in a band called the 'Mothers of Intention' (not a Frank Zappa tribute band!). As this other band is more into folk music, they call the instrument the fiddle. But the same instrument playing Tango – it’s a violin!

Mhelene from Paris, France

London Caller from United Kingdom

You know what I really like?
It's his left lens!!
It's kinda like bokeh in bokeh!!
Really interesting - and it's in the middle of this photo - like a focus point!
To me, it's the spectacles that steal the show, not the violin.

11 Nov 2010 12:32pm

@London Caller: Yes, well seen. The spectacle is like a bokeh in a bokeh. The bokeh or blur effect is something I really like about the Tamron lens I used here.

Monique from Koh Samui, Thailand

Too bad we can't hear him playing the tango! Beautiful shot with perfect lighting!
