Jazz is the teacher

Posted by
Stephen (Canberra, Australia) on 8 February 2011 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

This is bassist and jazz scholar, Eric Ajaye. Eric is founder of the jazz quartet, Vertical. In the span of his career, Eric has worked with some great names, including Chaka Khan, Sonny Stitt and Taj Mahal. At present, Eric teaches bass at the Canberra School of Music.

Eric and his group were playing at Summer Sounds. The National Botanic Gardens hosted this concert series; and the bands were playing under the trees on the lawns of the Gardens.
