I return to one of my favourite places - the skyspace at the National Gallery of Australia. This shot is from inside its pyramid like structure. The white (natural) light is from the inner chamber. I set up my tripod and got the shot shortly after sunset.
You can see my earlier series on the skyspace here. This shot is a preview; and in a future series I hope to portray a little of the magic of the light spaces within this work of art.
Here, you see a glimpse into the inner chamber. The splash of water you can see on the path is the result of a careless visitor falling into the pool! The glassy calm soon returned to the surface of the pool, allowing me to get this shot.
Shot and fine tuned as RAW file – but no other processing.
