Gift of refuge - part 2

Posted by
Stephen (Canberra, Australia) on 16 May 2014 in People & Portrait.

Tri Nguyen steps down to the shore of Lake Burley Griffin after completing his walk from Melbourne to Canberra. A walk of over 400 miles! His pilgrimage was to deliver a model of the boat in which he and his father and sister fled Vietnam in 1982. Tri and his support team pulled the boat along on a set of wheels. It was an inspiring journey and Gift of Refuge by Tri. His walk was possible because of the people he met along the way and their help and welcome. The spirit of hospitality is alive and well - and the most inspiring aspect of Tri's Gift of Refuge. You can learn more about Tri Nyuyen's journey here.
